The Blair / Bedford Builders Association, “The Voice of the Building and Housing Industry in Blair and Bedford Counties” is a stable and credible organization….celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2011….. we have been meeting the needs of the building and housing industry (and those companies that serve the industry) throughout these years….and we continue to do so, with ever-changing programs and services to meet changing needs. But one thing does not change with time – our commitment to serve our members and community with the utmost of care and concern.

It is our mission to provide services and value to every company, small or large, that is involved in building, construction or housing in some way, shape or form, in Blair and Bedford Counties. While we invite ALL COMPANIES involved in building, construction and housing (and those companies that provide services, materials and supplies to our industry) to apply for membership, we do have minimum standards for membership that all applicants must meet. Occasionally, a few companies can not meet those standards and we decline their applications until their business operations are able to meet the minimum standards for membership.

Membership means something!

When consumers choose to do business with a member of the Blair / Bedford Builders Association, we want them to know that the member company they have selected meets minimum standards designed to protect the housing consumer.

When you join the BBBA, your dues automatically provide membership in the 8,500 member Pennsylvania Builders Association and the 200,000+ member National Association of Home Builders. This gives you access to their trade publications and countless free services available only to members. Check out their organizations at www.pabuilders.org and www.nahb.org

BBBA maintains regular contact and communication with municipal and county officials and municipal code officials in order to address your concerns and bring you the latest in news and information that impacts how you do business.

• Members receive Free PA One Call Service – each year – a $100.00 out of pocket savings for all building and excavating contractors who must use the PA One Call.

• BBBA Monthly Newsletter – crammed full of important news and information to benefit you and your business

• Each member receives a free listing with full contact information and services your company provides in the Annual Guide to Building & Remodeling in Blair & Bedford Counties – distributed free of charge to 8000 Housing Consumers Annually in 100+ locations, including the Home & Garden Show.
