Virtual reality helps recruit teens into construction, mentorship motivates them to stay
For the job-hungry young adult, there aren't that many requirements for suitable after-school employment, so long as the job works in conjunction with their current school schedule, doesn't require extensive training or education, is not a long-term commitment and pays a decent amount of money. An afternoon shift as a grocery store clerk checks all of these boxes. While the likelihood of a major infrastructure spending bill this year has dimmed dramatically - and the prospects for a big boost in related construction activity along with it - construction companies still face a shortage of both workers and the skills needed to effectively complete projects. SteakFest:
Tuesday, July 9th @ The Swiss Club. Registration begins @ 5:30p, Cost is $30.00p/p. As usual, we will be having those Charcoal Grilled Steaks by Bill Campbell and his Hoss's Team. Note: This year all drinks will be via a cash bar.
We currently have 8 reservations remaining; available on a first come first serve basis. CALL THE OFFICE to check on remaining reservation space.

Meet ‘n Greet:
Tuesday, August 6th @ Park Home. Registration begins @ 5:30p, Cost is $10.00 p/p. The Muccitelli Family will be having live cooking demos by their appliance vendors...always great food. Reservation Deadline is: Thursday, August 1st.

Casino Bus Trip:
Saturday August 17th we are planning another bus trip to Pittsburgh. We've had numerous requests to expand the trip as follows: We will depart from Hollidaysburg Plaza at 9:30a and return around 8:30p. Earlier departure time is to allow ample time for those that wish to attend the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Game at PNC Park. You will need to purchase your own tickets for that game. First pitch is 1:30p.
Cost for the bus trip is $50 p/p and includes the beverages and snacks that we've had on the previous trips. The Casino will give you a voucher for $10.00 in slot play. Seating is limited to 45 people and is on a first-come first-served basis. Reservation Deadline is: Friday, July 19th. Payment is due at time of signup.

Curve Night:
Tuesday, August 20th. Tickets will be provided free of charge by your fellow members. Reservation deadline is: Thursday, August 15th.
